Abstract: With the rapid incorporation of dental lasers into the practice dentistry, the need for knowledge of these technologies has become necessary for all dentists. This program will provide an overview of the concept of laser technologies and equipment. In particular, the role of diode lasers will be explored with an emphasis on adjunctive use of lasers with dental implant procedures. Clinical examples will be presented to demonstrate the efficacy of laser utilization for a wide range of simple procedures.
