Oral Art and Design: Material Selection in All-ceramic Applications

Abstract: Today’s dental patient arrives at our office with an unprecedented motivation for esthetic dentistry.  Critical to the success of any esthetic dental treatment is the appropriate selection of the proper restorative material.  Selection of the best restorative material not only involves the potential for optimal optical properties but also an assessment of biologic and functional requirements. Bio: Dr. Michael Sesemann has been in private practice since graduating from the UNMC College of Dentistry in 1981. He is an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and serves as an examiner for the AACD’s accreditation and fellowship processes. In addition, Dr. Sesemann currently serves the AACD as it’s 23rd President.
