Abstract: Computerized technology has the advantage of reducing clinical chair-time and laboratory costs. The accuracy of these techniques has improved and is comparable to conventional techniques. Technique to fabricate computerized abutments and computerized restorations without a fixture level impression will be discussed. Ceramic materials for in-office fabrication will be shown. Occlusion of implants and teeth will be analyzed.
Bio: Dr. Dean Vafiadis received his D.D.S. and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the NYU College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and Director of the Full-Mouth Rehabilitation CE course at NYU. He has published and lectured for over 17 years. He maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in New York City.
