Tradition Meets Technology for Full Arch Workflows: What Have We Learned?
Date / Time
September 18, 2024 07:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
As digital technology has shown to provide more efficient treatment protocols, fundamental knowledge of analog implant principles is imperative for successful treatment outcome. This seminar will highlight the restorative aspects of full arch implant dentistry, starting with an objective way of determining “terminal dentition,” followed by a systematic pre-treatment algorithm for treatment planning full arch cases. The focus will then highlight the various methods available today to implement digital workflows in immediately loading an interim implant supported prosthesis. We will then finish the seminar with the technological evolution for definitive digital implant impressions for full arch implant treatments.
Learning Objectives:
--Reviewing an objective way to determine teeth “terminal.”
--Reviewing the three digital methods of immediately loading full arch implants treatment available today.
--Reviewing the technological evolution for digital definitive implant impressions for full arch treatments.
Questions:
--What technology do you recommend to invest in as a new graduate or clinician? Can you elaborate on any limitations with the workflows you mentioned today?
--Do you prefer ti base or ti base free for definitive prostheses?
--Trios 5 seems to be marketed as “no need to follow scan path” do you agree?
