Irene Marron-Tarrazzi and Nuria Otero - June 25, 2025
Presentation: At the Edge: Designing with Esthetics and Biology in Mind
Dr. Irene Marron-Tarrazzi is a board-certified periodontist who maintains a full-time private practice in the vibrant Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. She earned her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed her post-doctoral training in Periodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Post-Graduate Periodontics Program at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi has received several prestigious honors, including Florida Dentist of the Year, NSU Alumni of the Year, and the Lucy Hobbs Project Woman-to-Watch Award. She also served as the first and youngest Vice President of the American Dental Association. Actively involved in the global dental community, she is the current Vice Chair of the FDI Membership Liaison and Support Committee and the former Chair of the FDI Section on Women Dentists Worldwide. Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Dr. Nuria Otero was born and raised in Venezuela, where she had a very successful dental practice. She received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry from Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded the David Baraban award for academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Otero’s passion is Dental Esthetics, as a way to combine science and art to achieve natural results that impact her patients’ lives by bringing back their self-confidence and their smile.
She focuses on full mouth esthetic reconstructions, porcelain veneers, all ceramic restorations, and implant dentistry, using the latest technology, techniques and innovative materials. Her cases have been published in important international dental publications and she has given lectures on the latest dental techniques, internationally. She has years of experience in managing complex multi-disciplinary esthetic cases in conjunction with other specialists.
Dr. Otero has become part of the Aventura Dental Arts’ team where she has practiced esthetic dentistry at a high level since 2017.
Adjunct Faculty at Nova University in the Department of Periodontics and at Boston University in the Prosthodontic Department.
She uses social media as a tool to connect with people by sharing her knowledge and clinical experience.

Dr. Agne Malisauskiene - October 29, 2025
Presentation: Connect the Dots in Direct Anterior Restorations
Dr. Agne Malisauskiene is a restorative dentist and educator based in Vilnius, Lithuania. She runs a boutique private practice with a focus on esthetic and minimally invasive restorative dentistry, particularly direct anterior composites. Dr. Mališauskiene is a member of the Bio-Emulation group and lectures internationally, having presented for institutions such as the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Marcela Alvarez - December 10, 2025
Presentation: The Pre-Orthodontic Bonding Concept: An Updated Approach to Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning of the Worn Dentition
Dr. Marcela Alvarez is a Prosthodontist based in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her dental degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, in 2007. Following her passion for advanced restorative care, she completed a three-year specialty residency in Prosthodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2016. During her residency, Dr. Alvarez was mentored by internationally respected dental educators and became actively involved in research and academic writing. In collaboration with Dr. Markus Blatz, she co-authored the widely referenced article “How to Bond Zirconia: The APC Concept”, focusing on bonding protocols for one of the most popular and esthetic materials in modern dentistry. Her continued collaboration with Dr. Bill Robbins has led to the publication of several influential articles, including “Treatment Options for the Replacement of the Maxillary Lateral Incisor,” “The Bonded Single-Wing Zirconia Bridge”, and “Restoratively Guided Orthodontic Treatment: The Pre-Orthodontic Bonding Concept.” Dr. Alvarez is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the San Antonio District Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club. She is currently in full-time private practice in San Antonio, Texas, alongside Dr. Brad Beckel and Dr. Bill Robbins, where she is committed to delivering high-level, comprehensive, and esthetic dentistry.
